What is Bynder Labs?

At Bynder, AI has been part of our DNA long before it became a global buzzword. Our journey began in 2016 when we launched auto-tagging, one of the earliest AI-driven capabilities in the DAM industry. This marked the beginning of our commitment to building AI capabilities that solve real-world challenges for brands.

Fast-forward to 2023, a pivotal year when we accelerated our AI roadmap by acquiring EMRAYS, a company specializing in AI-powered content discovery. As a result of the acquisition, we added a team of leading AI experts to our R&D team and launched AI Search Experience. Over 600 customers subscribed to our AI Search Experience solution in the first year of launch, redefining how brands find and manage digital assets.

At Bynder, we believe that innovation thrives through collaboration. That’s why, in 2024, we introduced Bynder Labs during our inaugural Bynder Connect event. This was more than just a launch of our AI incubator – it was a strategic initiative to bridge our R&D team directly with customers and partners. The platform allowed our customers to interact with our engineers and product managers and provide real-time feedback, making them co-creators of our product. As a result, several new AI features, such as Natural Language Search and Duplicate Manager, were quickly brought into the market.

Today, Bynder Labs, our dedicated AI-driven innovation incubator, continues to be the platform where our brightest minds collaborate with customers, partners, and leading AI experts to pioneer the AI revolution in digital asset management. This collaborative approach ensures we remain at the forefront of AI-powered DAM solutions, delivering technologies that transform how businesses create, manage, and distribute digital content.
